Wasabi Nuts

Ingredients:

2 cups your choice of favorite nuts, rinsed in hot water and drained (almonds, peanuts, pecans, macadamias)
1 egg white, mixed with 2 tbsp. water
1 tsp wasabi
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp ground, toasted cardamom
2 tsp sea salt
1 cup organic powdered sugar

Rinse the shelled nuts with warm water in colander. In a small bowl, whip the egg and water with a fork. Place the nuts in the egg mixture and blend thoroughly. Next place them into the colander again to drain any excess egg mixture. Add the remaining dry ingredients in another bowl and mix well.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray sheet pan with olive oil. Individually toss each nut into the dry mix and place on oiled sheet pan. Once you have finished with each nut, lightly spray the nuts.

Bake in oven for 7-10 minutes until the nuts are a golden brown. Once the nuts are golden, take out of oven and cool before taking off sheet pan.

Cooks note: Try not to let the nuts touch one another while baking, other wise they will bake into one big clump of nuts.
