First, in a bowl mix 1 tbsp. olive oil with 2 tbsp.shawarma spice mix. Cut the chicken breasts into thin slices then add them to the seasoning mixture; make sure to coat the chicken slices thoroughly.
In a frying pan, heat up 3 tbsp. of olive oil and then add the chopped onion; sauté for on medium-high heat for about 10 minutes; add the meat, and season with salt and pepper; stir-fry all for about 15 minutes, until the meat turns a golden brown and is well coated with the spice. Serve on flat-bread with hummus and a fresh vegetable salad.
