Description: Our Shawarma seasoning is made with allspice, cardamom, coriander, cumin, roasted garlic, sea salt, turmeric & white pepper. Shawarma has its origins in Turkey and the Turkish word for Shawarma means “turning” which is the traditional cooking method. Layers, upon layers of meat are stacked on a large vertical rotisserie slowly turning the meat as it roasts for several hours. As the meat is cooking, thin layers are shaved off and then piled into warm pita bread or wrapped in soft flatbread.
