Ingredients: 1 cup Basmati rice 1/2 small onion (finely chopped) 1 tsp Hot curry powder 1/2 tsp Cumin powder 1/4 tsp Black ground pepper 3/4 tsp Sea salt 1 1/2 cup Water
Heat a medium size pot over medium flame and add olive oil. Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown. Add spices to the onion mixture: hot curry, cumin, black pepper and salt. Add rice and mix well with spices and onion; sauté for one minute. Lower the heat and add water; mix gently and cover. Simmer for 20 minutes.
