  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare Bread:

    • Place the cut pieces of baguette into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix Spices and Oil:

    • In a separate small bowl, combine the Italian seasoning, California chili powder, ground black pepper, granulated garlic, granulated onion, and sea salt with the olive oil. Stir well to blend all the ingredients.
  4. Coat the Bread:

    • Pour the spice and oil mixture over the cut baguette pieces. Toss the bread gently to ensure each piece is thoroughly coated with the seasoning.
  5. Bake:

    • Spread the seasoned bread pieces evenly on a baking sheet.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the croutons are golden and crispy.
  6. Cool and Store:

    • Allow the croutons to cool on the baking sheet. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
