Baked Yam Fries
Serves 4–6
Ingredients
- 3 small yams
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 380°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Peel the yams and cut into thick fry-shaped pieces. In a large bowl, toss with olive oil until evenly coated. Sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
Arrange in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between pieces so they roast rather than steam.
Bake for about 20 minutes, turning once or twice, until tender and golden at the edges.
Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Serve alongside a fresh salad, grilled dishes, or enjoy on their own with your favorite dipping sauce.
Enjoy!
