Greek-Style Cucumber and Yogurt Dip with Dill

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup finely chopped cucumber
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup fresh dill weed or 2 Tbsp. dried dill weed
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt


Instructions:

1. Prepare Ingredients:

  • Finely chop the cucumber, onion, and fresh dill. If using dried dill, measure out 2 tablespoons.
  • Mince the garlic clove, if using.


2. Combine Ingredients:

  • In a salad bowl, combine the chopped cucumber, onion, dill, lemon juice, minced garlic (if using), olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and Greek yogurt.


3. Mix Well:

  • Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.


4. Adjust Seasoning:

  • Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning according to your preference. Add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if desired.


5. Serve:

  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  • Serve the creamy cucumber dill dip with pita chips for a delicious snack.
