Pistachio-Pepper Ice Cream Topping

We use the mortar and pestle to crush nutmeats for this delectable topping.


1/2 cup pistachio meats, roasted and lightly salted
5 long black pepper pods, ground or crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbs. powdered sugar


Combine all ingredients in a mortar and pestle and crush.
Serve over vanilla Ice cream.
