Hot Toddy with Cinnamon Syrup

 

Our recipe is adapted from one by Huffington Post cocktail columnist and Brooklyn bartender Tom Macy.

 

(Makes 1 drink)

 

3 ounces whiskey
2 Tbs. cinnamon syrup
2 Tbs. lemon juice, lime juice or a mixture of the two
4-5 ounces boiling water
Nutmeg for garnish
In a small saucepan, warm the whiskey, syrup and juice while boiling the water in a kettle.
Pour the whiskey mixture into a mug and add the boiling water.
Grate some fresh nutmeg on top and enjoy.
