Description: Kala Namak or Black Salt is a special type of Indian mineral salt. It is actually pinkish grey rather than black and has a very distinctive sulfurous mineral taste (like hard boiled egg yolks). Black Salt is used in Indian cuisine as a condiment and is added to chaats, chutneys, raitas and many other savory Indian snacks.

I love this stuff! This goes great on meats, fries, soups, eggs and anything savory! Combine this with their black salt and you are golden!
I use this on lots of foods, fruits, and vegetables. It adds to the flavor. I also use this in pozole instead of real chilies and it is excellent.
