Description: Use beet root dices to add texture, color and flavor to many food dishes such as casseroles, salads, soups, and even desserts. Of all the vegetables, beets have the highest sugar content and are fast becoming a choice of sweetener. To rehydrate, soak 1 cup of beet dices in 1 cup boiling water for approximately 30 to 40 minutes before adding to salads or food that doesn’t require boiling. If you are adding the beet dices to soups or other dishes that require liquid, you can add them directly into the food.
