Instructions:

1. Preparing the Salad:

  • In a salad bowl, combine chopped heirloom tomatoes, whole lavender, fleur de sel, black pepper, and olive oil.
  • Gently toss until all ingredients are well-mixed.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.


2. Serving:

  • Serve the salad as is, or use it as a topping for bruschetta (as described below).


For Bruschetta Variation:

1. Toast slices of baguette until they're golden brown and crisp.
2. Place a slice of fresh mozzarella cheese on each toasted baguette slice.
3. Top with a tablespoon of the heirloom tomato and lavender salad.
