Description: Hyssop is an evergreen shrub with fragrant leaves. It adds a subtle mint-like flavor when chopped. Hyssop tea can be made by taking a dessert spoon of dried herb in ¼ liter boiling water. Leave for 10 minutes; sugar or honey can be added for additional taste. Hyssop can be added to soups, salads or meats, but should be used sparingly.
