In French cooking, shallots have become an essential ingredient in many sauces because of its unique flavor. Now, shallots have found their place in American households, as well, where they are used in soups, sauces, breads, meat, fish, chicken and vegetable dishes. To save you time in the kitchen, we are offering freeze dried, diced shallots with all the flavor of fresh shallots, to ease your cooking time. To rehydrate, cover equal parts water to shallot or use as-is in longer cooking processes.
