Description: Saffron known for being the most expensive spice in the world, has a distinctive, tenacious, aroma and a penetrating bitter, but highly aromatic taste. In Morocco, saffron has been grown for centuries in the region beyond the high Taliouine Atlas. Saffron is used all around the world in places such as Spain, France, Italy, India, and most of Europe. This spice is used in fish and rice dishes and in tagine meat dishes. It is also used in risotto and saffron cakes.
