Description: These chili peppers are nicknamed rattle chilies because the seeds rattle when they are shaken. These peppers have a brownish-red, smooth translucent skin with a lightly acidic, smoky flavor. When toasted, it has an agreeably nutty flavor and tastes moderately hot. These are perfect peppers for toasting and blending with tomatoes or tomatillos to make salsa or stews.

I love this stuff! This goes great on meats, fries, soups, eggs and anything savory! Combine this with their black salt and you are golden!
I use this on lots of foods, fruits, and vegetables. It adds to the flavor. I also use this in pozole instead of real chilies and it is excellent.
