How
do I post a message?
Click on the "Post New Message" button. Fill out the form, INCLUDING
a title for your message. Hit "submit" and your message will be posted
on the forum board and can be replied to by other members of Sales Access.
How
do I respond to a message on a particular Topic?
Simply navigate through the message board in order to find the message you would
like to respond to. Then click on the "Reply" button. That link will
send you to the page you may type your message in. Fill it out, hit "submit"
and you're on your way.
How
do I change viewing options?
There are really two basic viewing options. One is the Full List option which
provides the user with a complete view of all the Messages that resulted from
a particular Topic. This can be reached by clicking on the button called "Back
to List." The other option is Message Viewer which shows, not only the
messages themselves to the left, but also the entire message thread to the right.
Simply by clicking on a text link you can go anywhere in the thread you want
to.
What
are topics?
Message threads are basically "conversations" that take place based
on linkages between messages. Click the button "Back to List" in order
to view a complete list of "Topics." Once a message is replied to,
both the original message, the reply and all subsequent replies become part
of the same thread, or "Topic." To view a list of all messages in
a thread, click the text link of the particular Topic whose thread you would
like to view.
Why
are asterisks replacing the text I type?
The Message Boards use a language filter to discourage profanity in Message
Board discussions. Usually it will only filter out words that are commonly understood
to be offensive. Occasionally the filter misinterprets inoffensive words as
offensive.
